Great Arch Supports without the Expensive, Custom-Made Pricing.
"If you have to invest in something for your feet, you should invest in a good pair of comfortable shoes and a right set of arch supports if you have high-arch feet," said my podiatrist. Thus, I totally agreed with him! For a long time, I never understand why I always had bad back, foot, and heel pains... I always bought the good looking or bargain price shoes that didn't fit my feet, and they were hurting my whole body! I always thought that those things were common problems and that I should just "suck it up" and be a man about it. However, I was wrong and ignorant until I met a good person who happens to be an podiatrist. He helps me choose a right set of shoes that were my right size - and I do have wide feet. Oh gosh, those new set of shoes were heaven sent. Nevertheless, he also recommends that I get the proper arch-support insoles! He tells me that he can charges rich or good insurance patients who want to do custom-made insoles, but always recommend Spenco to his...

Great for my Flat Feet
I use both 3/4 and full length Spenco orthotics. The 3/4 length are put under the foot bed liner that comes in the shoes. This serves to hold them in place - rare that one shifts even a tiny bit. If putting the orthotic under the shoe liner does not work (too thick), then I remove the liner and use a full length orthotic. That way I have good support and a good shoe bed liner. I have flat feet and plantar fascitis. Since I started using the Spenco Orthotics some years back, the constant foot pain is gone, gone gone!!! It's like having new feet.

Comfortable arch support
Purchased for my husband who has falling arches. The full length Orthotic Arch Supports stay in place in the shoe which makes for a much more comfortable fit. Standing all day at work is now pain free.

Excellent product, but too thick for some shoes
Having tried all the drugstore arch supports and other online varieties, the Powerstep and the Powerstep Pinnacle are excellent products and clearly the best I have encountered. Not only are they effective, but they are also comfortable.I have a high arch and was concerned at first that the arch in the Powerstep was not high enough to provide the benefits I needed, because some other medium-height supports did not help me. This turned out not to be a problem. After wearing the Powerstep for just a couple of days my heel problems were gone and my feet and knees felt well. Apparently the shape of the support is just right to provide the benefit.(Incidentally, my main problem has been heel spurs. An insightful doctor told me that they would stop hurting after using arch supports for a couple of months. He was right! Heel cushions are not the solution - arch supports are.)I have also used the Powerstep basic model, which is the same orthotic but...

Powersteps for problem feet
As a long time sufferer of fallen arches I've tried many insteps, from custom made to cheap drug store ones, none have worked as well as the Powerstep Pinnacles. I've been using them for something like 4 years now, maybe longer, after a foot Doc sold me a set after having him look into my foot pain issue. I tried a couple of the better drug store ones but found them no better then having none. They might be okay if you just want some cusion though. I have worked up to the point where I have a set in each of about 5 pairs of footware, started with just one set but moving them from one pair to another proved to be too much hassle. If you have sore arches to the point you can hardly walk, see the doc then try these out (if he suggests the $200 custom jobs, try these first). It took a month or so for the swelling to go down after starting to use these so give them a chance. Do keep in mind that your results will more then likely differ from mine, I just got lucky.

Great for the feet.
These insoles took the pain away from my feet due to Plantar Fascitis. They fit my shoes without having to modify them. Once these wear out I will definitely purchase them again.

Product Description

This report was created for global strategic planners who cannot be content with traditional methods of segmenting world markets. With the advent of a "borderless world", cities become a more important criteria in prioritizing markets, as opposed to regions, continents, or countries. This report covers the top 2000 cities in over 200 countries. It does so by reporting the estimated market size (in terms of latent demand) for each major city of the world. It then ranks these cities and reports them in terms of their size as a percent of the country where they are located, their geographic region (e.g. Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, Latin America), and the total world market.

In performing various economic analyses for its clients, I have been occasionally asked to investigate the market potential for various products and services across cities. The purpose of the studies is to understand the density of demand within a country and the extent to which a city might be used as a point of distribution within its region. From an economic perspective, however, a city does not represent a population within rigid geographical boundaries. To an economist or strategic planner, a city represents an area of dominant influence over markets in adjacent areas. This influence varies from one industry to another, but also from one period of time to another.

In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for the world's major cities for "orthopedic and prosthetic arch supports and other foot appliances" for the year 2011. The goal of this report is to report my findings on the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by a city when defined as an area of dominant influence. The reader needs to realize that latent demand may or may not represent real sales. Top to learn more

Product Description

This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for orthopedic and prosthetic arch supports and other foot appliances across the prefectures and cities of Japan. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across some 1,000 cities in Japan. For each city in question, the percent share the city is of it's prefecture and of Japan is reported. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city vis-a-vis others. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each prefecture and city, latent demand estimates are created for orthopedic and prosthetic arch supports and other foot appliances. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved.

This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the cities in Japan). This study gives, however, my estimates for the latent demand, or the P.I.E., for orthopedic and prosthetic arch supports and other foot appliances in Japan. It also shows how the P.I.E. is divided and concentrated across the cities and regional markets of Japan. For each prefecture, I also show my estimates of how the P.I.E. grows over time. In order to make these estimates, a multi-stage methodology was employed that is often taught in courses on strategic planning at graduate schools of business. Top to learn more

Product Description

This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for orthopedic and prosthetic arch supports and other foot appliances across the regions of Greater China, including provinces, autonomous regions (Guangxi, Nei Mongol, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Xizang - Tibet), municipalities (Beijing, Chongqing, Shanghai, and Tianjin), special administrative regions (Hong Kong and Macau), and Taiwan (all hereafter referred to as "regions"). Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across some 1,100 cities in Greater China. For each major city in question, the percent share the city is of the region and of Greater China is reported. Each major city is defined as an area of "economic population", as opposed to the demographic population within a legal geographic boundary. For many cities, the economic population is much larger that the population within the city limits; this is especially true for the cities of the Western regions. For the coastal regions, cities which are close to other major cities or which represent, by themselves, a high percent of the regional population, actual city-level population is closer to the economic population (e.g. in Beijing). Based on this "economic" definition of population, comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city's marketing and distribution value vis-a-vis others. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved.
