Cozy warmth
For some reason fleece booties are hard to find. I had surgery on an ankle several years ago and it gets stiff if it's cold, so regular slippers are inadequate. These are great! The cuff folds up for higher coverage if desired. And since there's no supporting footbed, I get the feel of going barefoot too. Gonna order another pair for a backup.

Warm, comfortable and sturdy
I've worn down booties for more than 20+ years, and for keeping warm your feet warm around the house (we have lots of wood, concrete and granite in our house), they can't be beaten. These Sierra Design booties really impress me, however, when compared to others.What I like:1. Really solid outer sole, with a non-slip sole, especially nice to have when climbing woo stairs.2. In spite of the solid sole, the bootie has a sift feel under your feet, providing cushioning without the weight or heft of a shoe.3. An ankle level elastic band, which really helps keep your heel solidly in the bottom of the bootie makes these feel more like shoes than booties, and also helps keep warm air in, and cold air out! Feels a little strange at first, but after a few minutes you won't notice it.4. Enough down to keep your feet warm ,but not so much that they get hot. One of my other booties has much higher fill power down, and much more of it, and they can get...

Sierra Designs Down Slippers rock
I was worried about spending $50 on slippers as a gift but the person who got them says they are warmest he has ever had. Would have liked better if an XXL would have been available. The XL is not wide enough for mens size 13. Seem to run on small size. Other than that they are great.

Baffin Cush Boty
This is my second pair of Baffin slippers--wore through my first pair b/c I wore them so much! My house has ceramic tile throughout most of it, and it gets CHILLY. With my Baffins, I have never had any problem with my feet being cold (or conversely, getting too hot). I highly recommend them!

The booties are very warm and super comfortable. As other reviewers have stated they do run small though. I wear a size 9.5-10 and ordered an x-large and they barely fit. The do fit, but if I were to wear thick socks it would be tight. The soles are thin and we'll see how well they hold up but for the money even if they wear out the comfort and warmth are worth it and I'll just get another pair (although next time I'll get an xxl).The reasons I didn't give 5 stars is due to the thin sole and inaccurate sizing, otherwise these are the best booties ever!Here's the manufacturer's size chart that came with the booties:Men: L = 7/8, XL = 9/10, XXL = 11/12, XXXL = 13/14Woman: S = 5/6, M = 7/8, L = 9/10, XL = 11Youth: YS = 10/11, YM = 12/13, YL = 1/2, S = 3/4, M = 5/6I would suggest ordering a size up if you're on the high end of the size if you want room for thick socks.
